With Springtime just around the corner...ok lies...we are in Cali where its either "Spring" or deathly Summer all year round (Sorry East Coast!)..But with Springtime coming we can't help but start putting flowers all around our house to brighten things up a bit.
Lately we have been pushing our fave vases (except this one) to the back shelf and using unexpected flower holders around the house. Its totally refreshing and chic...and the best part...RECYCLED (i.e. eco friendly and budget friendly) Here are a couple of our top ways to have flowers around the house.
We J'Adore ALL things Jonathan Adler and his candles are addicting and intoxicating. And the absolute best part about owning a JA original? When you are done burning the beauties, you simply clean them out with warm soapy water and voila! A perfectly chic mini vase!
For years we have been in love with the Voluspa candles and their Maison Noir and Blanc line is unreal.
Nothing too overpowering..just light, inviting and lovely scents. We dump the empty holders in the sink week after week, clean them up and store them like a squirrel storing nuts for the winter.
Another cute "upcycle" idea for a vase are used (or unused) mason jars. Its a great laid-back way to put some of natures love and colors around the house.
We love the idea of painting them too! Heres a super easy and chic way from the MissKrisTurner blog.
Not up for a DIY? How lovely are these painted beauties from Etsy seller KAStyles?
Its never the wrong time to brighten your home or office with flowers... and now its easier and chicer than ever!
So upcycle and recycle and the chic will follow!
Have a beautiful day!
