Some how animal fur became part of our fashion collective. Somehow wearing the skin of an animal skinned alive and discarded in a pile while breathing became a picture of chicness and wealth...before it was indigenous humans in the arctic needed them for survival in minus 40f weather but suddenly fur took over fashion. But we have great news...you may remember our faux fur post from last season and we have the same great news! Faux Fur is soooooo back and SO good. The only problem is...its hard to tell the difference between faux (animal/planet friendly) and real fur.
Thanks to fashion and animal lovers across the globe the demand for cruelty free fur is at an all time high! SO big that Gucci declared to go fur free...stating that it was "Not Modern"...not to mention cruel and filled with darkness. Now if we could only get the message to JLO, Kardashian Klan, Rihanna, Kate Moss etc... But until then...WE can go faux and flawlessly.

As true animal, earth and fashion lovers... we LOVE and wear our faux furs with pride BUT some people may think they are real so we are thinking about going the Stella McCartney route and putting these small labels on them...tres chic no? We found cool ones on Etsy...
So get out there and go faux...tell the fur and fashion industry that (real) fur is DEAD. The more we lead the faster they follow so lets lead with our wallets and hearts....
