For years we have used printed cotton indian tapestries for our beach throws and towel.  They are light weight, beautfiul, easy yet big enough to hold quite a few little bodies and their snacks.

Then we saw the "roundie" and we were instantly in love.  A huge round towel with chic prints?!?

Who didn't think of this beach chic accessory before?  Leave it to the sun kissed, beach living, life loving people of Austrailia (our new style gurus) to create the "roundie".  The roundie was created by Australian label, The Beach People.

Their packaging is just as gorgeous as their products.

It is a soft printed cotton with beautiful boho tassels weighting the circumference.  Large enough for a snuggle session but small enough to not become impossible to lay out.

In our hunt for the worlds most perfect "roundie" we found a few more that were inspired by the OG from The beach People.

Love this bright and smaller version from Swimzip!  Perfect for a solo day trip to the shore.  Bring a book, this roundie, the perfect bikini and you are good to go.

Yummm,  this roundie called the mandala from An Enchanted life is so dreamy, it just says "relax".  Love how big it is and the colors make us want to get to the Caribbean asap.

Oh hello mexican blanket roundie...how are you today?  Want to come home with us?  Thanks to Etsy seller Cloud Hunter Co for your colorful and festive take on the roundie.

oh and need this one too!

oh and need this one too!

The Ohana roundie from Slippa is divine.  Created of snuggly terry cloth this one is destined to be the perfect towel.

We found a few on Amazon too!  But they also called it a table cloth so we are a bit wary but the price ($20!) could sway us into finding out.

How ever you beach it up...make sure you chic it up. Its as easy as a new towel!
