During WWII American soldiers commissioned bomber jackets to be made from silk of the old parachutes to commemorate their days fighting the war. These gorgeous jackets filled with the most unbelievable embroidery and colors. The soldiers of the Vietnam and Korean wars followed suit. These lovely jackets are known as the Sukajan.
